When you see someone waving at you and you wave back. Then you realise they were waving at someone behind you.

When you say goodbye to someone you've been chatting to, and then you both walk away in the same direction.

When you go up to a new mum and say, 'Oh, your little girl's so cute!' and she says ' Yes, he is.'

When you're at a restaurant and the waiter says, 'Enjoy your meal' and you say, 'You too!'

When you go to hug someone and you both move your heads in the same direction , then the same direction again , etc .

When you join a group of people talking and they go silent.

When someone asks you something, but you're not listening, so you just say 'yeah' - but it wasn't a yes or no question.

When someone introduces you, using the wrong name, and then that person introduces you to other people using the wrong name aswell.

When you offer a pregnant lady your seat on the bus and then realise that she is just fat.

Finding that your fly is undone, and having no idea how long it's been like that for.

Talking about someone who is behind or next to you.

When you are talking to someone and you start talking about a girl that you hate. You say, 'She is probably the most annoying person that i've ever met.' and the person your talking to says, ' Oh, we're really good friends'.

You accidentally spit on someone's face when your talking to them.

The morning after you've been talking in your sleep at a sleepover party. Especially if you've said the word, 'mummy'.

When someone tells you something serious, like that their cat just died, and you laugh cause you think they're joking. But their cat actually did die.

When a friend corrects you on a word you've been mispronouncing for YEARS.

When your singing along to the car stereo, then someone changes the station, and during the silence you do an involuntary solo.

When you're with you dog and he decides to do a poo next to a main road, and you have to wait, with everyone watching you, for ages.

When someone says, 'Hi' and you say, 'Good thanks'.

When you go up behind one of your friends and slap them really hard in the back, which is your friendly way of saying hi to one another, and they turn around. And it isn't your friend.

When you see someone you know, but you're not sure if you them enough to say hi. So you don't.

When you tell a story that you think is really funny. But no one laughs. Apart from you.
